Is there a travel cot or high chair?

One travel cot and one high chair are provided as standard.

From what time can we check in?

For a weekend (2 or 3 nights) or a midweek stay, we expect you on Friday or Monday from 4 pm.

What time is check-out?

If you book a standard weekend (2 nights), you may stay until 6 pm on Sunday. For a long weekend or a midweek stay, we ask you to check out by 10 am on Monday or Friday.

Is there a washing machine in the house?

Yes, there is a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and drying rack.

Is Kolonel Kamiel child-friendly?

Definitely. There is a separate room with a television, table football, a table tennis table and board games. In the enclosed garden they can let off steam on the large trampoline or with the spikeball. A travel cot and a high chair are available. The adventure trail in Vaubanpark is within walking distance of the holiday home.

Do we have use of a garden?

There is an enclosed town garden with a terrace and a long dining table. There is a charcoal barbecue, a built-in trampoline and a seating area with a fire bowl.

What about parking?

Kolonel Kamiel has 1 indoor garage with space for 1 car or several bicycles. There are also many free parking spaces opposite the house and at Kaaiplaats.

Is the house accessible for wheelchair users?

Kolonel Kamiel is a historic manor house with a number of steps, and the bedrooms are on the upper floors, reached by stairs. Unfortunately, the house is therefore less suitable for wheelchair users.

Is the house easy to reach by public transport?

Yes, because the house is in the centre of Veurne, it is excellently accessible by public transport. Veurne railway station is 500 m from Kolonel Kamiel.

Can I charge my electric car at the holiday home?

Charging your car from the house electricity supply is not permitted. There are several public charging points in the immediate vicinity of Kolonel Kamiel; the nearest is at Lindendreef 2, 100 m from the holiday home.

Where are the nearest supermarkets and bakeries?

Because you are staying in the heart of Veurne, you will find bakeries, butchers and supermarkets all within walking distance or a very short drive.

Are stag and hen parties, student clubs or youth groups allowed?

Kolonel Kamiel is aimed at families, groups of friends and companies looking for quality and peace. Noisy (youth) groups or stag and hen parties are not permitted, in order to guarantee the quality of the house and the peace of the neighbours.

Are dogs or other pets allowed?

No, for hygienic reasons pets are not permitted in the building.
